Day 60 - Happy Leap Day!!!!

I like how every picture for leap day year thingy is of a frog.
Today happens to be that extra day of the year that comes around every 4 years. I've always wondered why we have a extra day every four years so I googled it and according to Wikipedia: A leap year (or intercalary or bissextile year) is a year containing one additional day (or, in the case of lunisolar calendars, a month) in order to keep the calendar year synchronized with the astronomical or seasonal year. Because seasons and astronomical events do not repeat in a whole number of days, a calendar that had the same number of days in each year would, over time, drift with respect to the event it was supposed to track. By occasionally inserting (or intercalating) an additional day or month into the year, the drift can be corrected. A year that is not a leap year is called a common year. So...ummm...I'm not totally sure what all that mean but...ummm...I think we have an extra day every four years so that the world doesn't explode. Also I was wondering what would you do if your birthday was on leap day? I think I would celebrate my birthday on the 28th of February because it's sooner but I really don't know what I would do...I would be kind of sad if my birthday only came around every four year.
Quote of the Day: Happy leap day! Too bad this 'extra day' falls on a Wednesday. If you are anything like me you are working hard like always.

Day 58 - That Awkward Moment When...

Don't you just hate those awkward moments when you have something on your face or something stuck in your teeth and no one tells you. Then you have to go to the bathroom or something and you look in the mirror and see the thing on you or in your teeth and your like why didn't anyone tell me?!?!Or that awkward moment when your stopped at red light and look over at the person next to you and they are staring at you...it's like ummm creeper...(but half the time I'm the one that is staring...) Or even that awkward moment when you see that someones zipper is down but you don't want to tell them that it is because then you would have to explain why you were looking down there. Then there is that awkward moment when your taking to yourself about something and of course someone walks in and think your really crazy because your talking to yourself. And my favorite when you are talking to your friend and then suddenly the room gets all quite and you yell something really random and really loud like NO FRIED PINEAPPLES ARE WAY BETTER THEN CHOCOLATE COVERED BROCCOLI!!!! And everyone looks at you with a really weird and question look on their face. I think for some reason awkward moments are drawn to me like teenage girls are drawn to vampires.

Day 57 - Tired.

I was up till 1am this morning finishing filming A Very Potter Musical. 1am. And of course my mom gets me up at eight thirty...The good news is I got to sleep from noon to 5pm this afternoon so that was good. I'm still really tired...I don't like taking naps explicitly when they last a whole day. It just feels like I didn't do anything productive all day which I didn't so then I have to do everything later. On the plus side our house smells like bacon so that makes everything better. Well I must go now and make me some lemonade.

Day 56 - Uncontrollable Animal Noises Syndrome

Recently I have been saying animal noises. A lot. They are really random too. I could just be sitting in class and all of the sudden you'll here MEOW or RUFF or something whale like or some other weird animal. Or I'll be mad at you or something and say some strange animal noise. I don't know why I do this. I think I have animalnoisephrenia or something. I wonder if anyone else has this syndrome. Making weird animal noises is kind of my strange thing that I do for some reason...so if one day everyone starts to say animal noises you'll know that it started here first.
Well it's Saturday *no dip Sherlock...* So that means I must leave to go to some party and then another one and then a sleepover because my social life is huge haha yeah right my social life = reenacting A Very Potter Musical my  friends and watching Criminal Minds with my mother...Well I'll talk to you tomorrow. (as always) I must go now because my social life is so huge... ;)

Day 55 - My Love For Fridays

I can't really explain my love for Fridays. I have always loved Friday. My love for Friday is like a box of chocolates that you get all for yourself and then you get a gift card and can go back to the store to get more. There is just so much love in me for Fridays. I think I should change my relationship status on Facebook to in a relationship with Friday. As a matter of fact...I wonder if I could do that. Would that be weird? *Extremely*  Yeah I don't think I should do that I think my parents and friends would be really confused...

Day 54 - ...

I don't really have anything planed for today...I think I used up all my creativity skill on my English essay that I wrote...It was about a terrible storm or something like that. Ugh my head hurts so I'm probably going to cut this short. Luckily tomorrow is Friday. Well goodnight I have to go study for a spelling test...and you know how badly I need to do that...

Day 53 - Half Days

Half days are amazing. We had one today and it was awesome. I don't know why I like half days so much. It's just half of a day off but I'll take anything I can get at this point. The only bad thing about half days is they are  usually in the middle of the week so then we have to go back to school for ___ more days. But sometimes we have then on Fridays which is a blessing NOT in disguise. It's just a little cute surprise that pops out of no where. (no one ever remembers about half days) Also I counted today and I think we have 56 more days of school!!!
So apparently today is Heinrich Rudolf Hertz 155th birthday today so...HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEINRICH!!!! So if you have no clue who this Heinrich guy is here you go: Heinrich Rudolf Hertz helped explain how even nothing at all can be something. Now that could be not true at all but that's what Google told me so that's what I'm going with... :)

Day 52 - Mardi Gras!!!

I love Mardi Gras. But I guess not as much as those crazy people that go down to New Orleans to celebrate. Those people LOVE Mardi Gras very very VERY much. In my class we do the whole baby in a cupcake thingy. The whole baby thingy is you put a baby in a cupcake or cake or even a sweet bread and if you get the baby then you have good luck for the rest of the year. And no it is not a real baby. But someone told me today that in New Orleans you get a real baby but I know that is not true, but if it was that would be really crazy if they really did that. Sadly I didn't get the baby. I won it one year though (when I was like in fourth grade.) So to everyone out there HAPPY MARDI GRAS!!!!!!
I was studying tonight for some test that I have tomorrow with a lime green highlighter. You must know that I find studying really boring. I was a bored as a dog sitting on a catfish (which in my language is extremely bored.) Anyway so for some reason I drew a smiley face on my stomach in lime green highlighter...I really hope that it comes out easily...

Day 51 - President Day

President Day is one those holidays that I love but I have know idea why it's a holiday. Just like most children I love holidays that really have no meaning to most people. For the record I do know why we don't have school today but most kids don't have any clue why the didn't have to go to school today. It's kind of said that children can't name any presidents now a days. At least I can name a few...maybe...okay so like one or two...Just kidding I can name at least ten...maybe..

Day 50 - Sleepover!

Okay I just want to set something straight. Girl sleepovers aren't all fancy. We don't have pillow fight in our underwear. We don't do spa treatments with those weird egg facials. We don't make out with each other. We don't watch sappy romance chick flicks...Oh wait we do do that...We usually eat a whole lot of food, watch movies, gossip, and eat some more.
Oh look it's us! (Hahaha you wish...)
My two and sadly only friends are over. (picky food eater one and lacking common sense one) They have the same name and like to be referred to in the plural...(actually they hate that) But it's fun to do that just to bug then. :) I'm such a good friend. So we got to go now. We need to go have a pillow fight in our underwear, egg facials, and make out with each other.

Day 49 - Really?

Okay so I was looking at my stats for this blog and it said that Weather was the most viewed blog post. I made that thought of that topic one day when I couldn't think of anything else to write about and it has the most views?! Wow...that just proves that people can write about anything now a days.
I know I know this post was really short but I tired and I still have to watch Glee from Tuesday. You know I find it really funny that I explain to you why my blog is short...Got to go I really need to watch Glee now.

Day 47 - Sepling...Seplling...Spelling.

Spelling is not my strongest subject...Lucky there is spell check now a days. Unfortunately sometimes I spell words so badly that spell check has no idea what the heck I'm spelling. So then I go to Google and see if they can spell the right word for me. Sometimes Google is looking out for me and gives me the word I'm looking for and other times it doesn't and I'm stuck trying to figure out how to fix the thing that I spelled to make it closer to the real word. Sometimes we thing that I spelled is so off that I have to change to a whole different word. It all started back in (enter grade that I learned how to read and stuff) I never got the whole phonics thingy. I think I have a mild form of dyslexia...oh well I must be on the right track...because baby I was born this way! See what I did there? :) I remember when I was in third grade I spelled first wrong and my teacher called me out in front of the whole class. And when I was in fourth grade my teacher would give us pre-spelling test and if we got all the words right then we wouldn't have to take it again but if we got any words wrong then we would have to write them five or ten times. Guess who had to write a whole lot of words? I did.But today I spent my whole English class learning how to spell pterodactyl <- and yes I spelled that right on my first try! So now if I'm ever on Jeopardy or something and I need to know how to spell pterodactyl then I'll be able to spell it. Pterodactyl...pterodactyl...pterodactyl.
Quote of the Day: " I got more holes in me than a Texas road sign." - Pterodactyl (Its a movie apparently)

Day 46 - Wednesday.

I tend to get lazy on Wednesdays. Usually it's because I am really busy and get home late on Wednesdays and because tomorrow is Thursday and I know that I'll have a longer blog so I can get away with writing a shorter blog today. Wednesdays are an okay day of the week. I don't mind then but they really need to decide what side they are going to be on. I mean are they the beginning of the week or the end? I think it depends if you’re a half full or half empty kind of a person. *What?!?!* You know a optimist (half full) or a pessimist (half empty). So if you’re an optimist Wednesdays remind you that half the week is gone and after today there is one day till Friday. But if you are a pessimist than Wednesdays remind you that it is still not Friday and you still have half of the week left. So which one are you?
Is it weird that I wrote this in the bathtub? I wasn't taking a bath or anything I was just sitting in it. I don't really know why I sat in the bathtub I just kind of wondered into my bathroom and sat in the tub and started writing (in a notebook and with a pencil in case you were wondering) It's strangely relaxing...sitting next to a rubber duck and fish and a mermaid Barbie doll...

Day 45 - Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine's day is one of those holidays that you either love or hate. Now a days it is way commercialized. What I mean is, stores didn't used to have huge displays about Valentine's day and really only people in relationships really cared about it. Now everyone  cares about Valentine's day and when you don't get a Valentine you feel pretty crapy. Valentine's day now is really just another holiday where companies get a whole lot of money because everyone buys candy or flowers or a stuffed animal for that special person (or cat or something...) But you know what I really hate about Valentine's Day? How cheesy things are. I really don't like it when someone proposes on Valentine's day or gets married or something it's just way to cheesy. It's like ordering a 5 cheese pizza and wanting extra cheese. You just don't do that. I just wish that Valentine's Day could be special again.
We had a party at school today (just like we do for every holiday) and we went bowling. I am probably the worst bowler in the history of bowling. We played two games and my highest score was 41. If you don't know anything about bowling you may still think that is really bad...and it is. The highest amount of points possible in a game is 300. But other than my very horrible bowling my day was pretty good. If there is one thing Valentine's day is good for it's being able to eat candy in class.

Day 44 - Crush Quiz

Crushes are different for everyone. So today I though we could do something fun to see which crush you are. Okay here we go:
1. When you crush on someone do how long does it last?
   A. A few days tops B. A couple of weeks to a few months C.I have liked the same person since the 1st grade.
2. How often do you think about your crush?
  A. Most days  B. Everyday  C. Wait people stop thinking about the person they like?!
3. Who knows you like someone?
  A. Everyone  B. Only people that I trust C. Only me...okay so my mom knows too.
4. Have you ever had a boyfriend/girlfriend?
  A. Well duh.  B. Yes  C. Phs Yeah...okay fine no I haven't...
5. How long do your relationship usually last?
  A. About a week.  B. A few months C. Well if I ever had one it would last forever!
 6. Which would you prefer to be in a relationship with?
   A. Sparkly vampire B. Hot (literally) werewolf  C. Human

If you got mostly A's: You don't keep crushes for very long and usually have a new one everyday to week. You think a lot of people are cute and wouldn't care if anyone of them asked you out. You may also want to rethink the whole sparkly vampire thing...

If you got mostly B's: You keep your crushes for a normal amount of time. Ever few weeks to months you tend to find a crush and keep if for a while. You probably have healthy relationships with people. And I'm with you on the whole hot (literally) werewolf thing.
If you got mostly C's: You are a mega crusher. You keep your crushes for a really long time even. You probably have picked out your baby names and what house your going to live in already. Also you most likely have a whole math notebook filled with Mrs.____ or Mr._____.
There you go! Now you know how large or small you crush on someone. If your wondering what I'm an A and B combined but defiantly not a C. (although I know some people who are)

Day 43 - We Will Always Love You Whitney Houston!

It's a sad day when someone dies. Especiallywhen someone famous or important to you dies. I guess everyday is a sad day because someone dies everyday. I couldn't say I was a super fan of Whitney Houston but I did enjoy her music. If you don't know much about Whitney Houston well she was an amazing singer, actress, model, and producer. She was very well known to many generations and was extremely talented. I don't think she will be forgotten. May she rest in peace.

Day 42- The Art Of Sarcasm

I don't know if you have noticed but I tend to use sarcasm. A lot. For those that don't know what sarcasm is here you go: Sarcasm is “a sharp, bitter, or cutting expression or remark; a bitter jibe or taunt.” Though irony and understatement is usually the immediate context, most authorities distinguish sarcasm from irony; however, others argue that sarcasm may or often does involve irony or employs ambivalence. For those who have know what the heck Wikipedia is talking about (aka all of us) sarcasm is pretty much making fun of something or someone. Now lets just say  you were walking outside with one of your friends and they pointed up at the sky saying: "Is that a plane?" You look up in the sky and see a plane that is as plain as day. So you say "No it's a flying cat." That would be sarcasm. Unless the plane wasn't really a plane like you thought it was and it was really a flying cat then you would just be telling the truth...
Oh joy now's the time where I tell you how wonderful and exciting my life has been! Well I would do that only it hasn't been that exciting...Now lets think what did I do today that is worth writing about...oh wait nothing...hahaha just kidding I had a doughnut today now that's worth writing about! Who doesn't love doughnuts? That's right no one! And if you don't then you must be some weird alien form the the planet Jabberwock. (I think that's a planet...)

Day 40 - Opera. It Covers Up Everthing!

Ohhh opera...you gotta love it. I started to realize that when ever I get cold or trying to concentrate I start singing opera...I have no idea why I sing opera it just happens. But today I also learned that opera covers up things that you don't want people to hear. So if you ever are talking with your friends or dog or cat or platypus (or whatever strange thing you talk to) and then someone walks by you just start singing opera and 1. no one can tell what your saying and 2. the thing you talking to will know you want them to shut up. Now how do you sing opera you may ask? Well you pretty much just talk in a really high voice and make it sound all singy songy. Yeah now you can have a reason to sing opera in your daily life!
My friend (the one lacking common sense) wrote you guys a letter. Here you go:

Day 39 - Arrrrr!

Hello all things of the world! You may be wondering why the title of this blog is Arrrr! well the title is called that today because...I am currently writing this with a eye patch on. I was just walking to the computer to start typing this when I saw a pirate eye patch on the ground and thought hey why not? The only thing wrong with it is I think it's cutting the circulation in by brain and it's really hard to see with it on. So Bye Bye pirate eye patch that is way to small to my freakishly large head. (I'm just kidding it's just normally large)...I think I have an eye patch mark...You know like a goggle mark but only around my eye. But guess what I found! Apparently there is an International Talk Like A Pirate Day! For more information click here! I just can't wait! But what I want to know is why did I not hear about this sooner?
Ughhh well I have to get going my mother is bugging me...something about needing sleep...big science test tomorrow...ughhh...yeah I don't know...well Good Nigh Everyone!!! I'm guessing some of your parents are bugging you to go to sleep or study or something.

Day 38 - Tuesdays....

Tuesdays are so pointless. Tuesday just remind you that there is still a whole three more day left till Friday. Nothing exciting has EVER happened on a Tuesday. Really I Googled exciting things that have happened on Tuesdays and came up with nothing. Oh crud I just found out the 9/11 was a Tuesday... Tuesdays are really bad when your in school because teachers hate giving you test on Mondays because they think you may have forgot that you had a test or something so they give you the test on Tuesday. All I have to live for on Tuesdays is Glee. (you can decide if that is something to live for) Do we really need Tuesdays? No, I think we could just take them out and then we would have a even number of day week. YAY!!! But the only problem with this is The Tuesday Lovers (or TTL for short) TTL are people who actually like Tuesdays. (Wow your life must be really weird if you love Tuesdays) I know we could put all Tuesday Lovers on a island all by theirselfs and then we could go on with our lives.

Day 37 - Weather

I really don't get weather. Okay so it's the middle of winter here where I live right? Well last week it was 50ish degrees outside. But now this week it's like below freezing and cloudy. I don't think I'll ever get the weather...One day it's all bright and sunny with not a single cloud in the sky then the next day it's hailing. Unfortunately it's supposed to be cold and cloudy all week...
Today was just another boring Monday :( Pretty much everyone was taking about the Super Bowl (why is it called that anyway?) and about how funny the commercials were. (they really weren't that funny this year) Just another boring Monday in my life...

Day 36 - Super Bowl

YAY!!! The Giants won!!! Wooo! (sorry family in New England but I was hopping the Giants would win) That was a fairly good game. Today I got to go to a collage basketball game (with really good sets) which was super fun but sadly we lost :( ...Well last night was a blast! I danced for two hours strait. But because our grade acts like we are all five again none of the 'cool' boys would dance. (I think it was more fun that way) At my friends sleepover we sat in front of her oven for 15 minutes watching cupcakes bake (sad I know) but it was starangly fun...We also watched Legally Blonde which is one of my favorite movies :) Well I'm tired (we didn't really go to sleep last night) so I going to go to bed now! Goood Nighttttt (or morning?)

Day 35 - Inside My Coat Pockets

I know what your thinking. Your probably thinking: Your really going to tell me what is in your coat pockets...wow your life has gotten to a new low...But here's the thing you never know what your going to find in my pockets I have some really weird things in there...Okay here we go:
1.  Two glove like things
2. Two tickets from the high school basketball game that I went to (see the real story time entry)
3. One blue headband
4. One part of a radio antenna (you never know when that will come in handy)
5. A UNused tissue
6. Some 3D glasses from some random movie...
7. A wrapper from a mint
8. A flyer for a  school that I may go to...
9. A few more wrappers from mints...
10. And...wait for it... 67 cents...
All of these things may save my life one day. You never no.
Wow I can't believe I had all in my pockets...wow I must have really big pockets...But you never know when those things can come in handy you know if I ever get lost in the woods maybe I'll need those things...
Tonight is the big dance (Woooo!!!) *cough* cough*not*cough*cough* But I was asked...by my friends so you no...Then after that I get to go over to my friends house.

Day 34 - Who RunsThe World? GIRLS!!!!!!1

Today was the annual boys vs. girls volleyball game that we do at my school. This year was our year to play. So if you don't know you usually play three matches and it's best two out of three. I'm really sad to say that we lost the first two matches BUT we won the third match so...I think deep down I knew that the girl were going to lose because our grade has some really powerful boys. But the part that counts is if I had fun which I did so all's good. (If we had won I probably wouldn't have said that...) The only bad part now is we are never going to hear the end of this. All the boys are going hang this over us till we all go our separate ways...
Tomorrow I have a school dance (if you can even call it that...) pretty much people sway to the music (or jump), eat pizza and candy and talk with your friends...It's kind of funny because usually the boys are on one side of the room and the girls are on the other (yes we do still act like we are five) But afterwards I'm going over to my friends house (the one lacking common sense) so that's good I guess.
Who doesn't like it's yummy goodness?

Day 33 - Mystery Seeker

Make cookies and give them to random people. Apparently that is my mission of the day...hour...minute...second...In case you don't know what the heck I'm talking about I will explain. Okay so there is this website called MysterySeeker.com. (mysteryseeker.com *link*)So when you go on there it has a bar thingy where you can type whatever you want into it but usually people type in: What is my mission? Then you hit search. (well duhhhh) And your mission should be in the Google search bar thingy. Sadly it's really addicting. I could be on it all day...and sadly probably will....Oh no...a apparently I have to listen to Justin Bieber songs for the next twenty minutes...great...okay I'm getting a new mission...ugh I give up...Okay lesson learned today kids: when ever you are mildly to extremely bored you can go on mystery seeker and find your mission.
Do you ever have plays come to your school? Well we usually have one every year come and they generally are really weird...Today we had one come and well it was...interesting ...They did a skit on bullying. It was a parody on bullying game show. To say the least my day was interesting. Well I got to go make some cookie for other people!
Oh and one more thing before I sign off in case you ever to get kicked out of Wal-Mart then I have the link for you: The linky-dinky :)

Day 32 - Koalas

Okay before I start this story there are somethings you need to know.
1. I have some really weird friends...
               and
2. One of my friends is lacking in the common sense department.
So this is the story (wow I made that sound way more epic than it really was...) Okay so anyway one day in math class my friend said "Do koalas hatch out of eggs?" As you probably know koalas don't hatch out of eggs just like how birds are not mammals and like how there is no 31st of November...(two examples of the brilliant things she has said...) So then today in math class we had a math test but then after the test my friend walks up to my other friend and hand her the note at the bottom...on the front says ummmm...hi and the inside it said this:

Just another normal American math class...
In case you couldn't see the shirt that is on the koala say I Heart Monkeys (I have no idea why) so that is why its thinking of a banana...But as you can see I have some very...how should I put this...interesting...friends...
Quote of the Day: "I'd love to hold a koala. They sleep 22 hours a day, eat eucalyptus leaves and just hang out. I want to spend some time with that guy." - Milo Ventimiglia (I was very surprised that there was quotes about koalas...)
